What brings me today to your contact is the Ubuntu United Nations initiative, which has the participation of Secretary-General António Guterres who sees in it a strong driver for change among the world´s youth.
The organization are seeking youth leaders to participate in 5 themed seminars chaired by Nobel Peace Prize Laureates and former Heads of State. The Seminars will take place online, on Sundays, between October 24 and December 19, 2021, entirely free of charge. Participants must have English language fluency.
"Bridge-building: igniting youth action for unity in diversity" is the theme that will inspire this 1st edition of the Ubuntu United Nations. The initiative seeks to mobilize the world´s youth leaders from all of the 193 countries represented at the UN.
Youth leaders ready to take a stand and to actively engage with the world are INVITED TO REGISTER AND APPLY to participate in the program. Terms and conditions are available on the website.
Registration is open until August 30.
The legacy of great leaders like Nelson Mandela and other Nobel Peace Prize laureates must be passed on to new generations, inspiring them to commit, through bridge building and servant leadership, to social justice, to the defense of human rights and the promotion of sustainable development; this is what the Ubuntu United Nations seeks to achieve for and with young people from all over the world.
We would be very grateful if you could disseminate the UUN initiative among your national and international students, aged 18-35.
We attach the regulation and a presentation of the event. You can check more information at: http://www.ubuntuunitednations.org
